If you've experienced a failed payment in the Evie App, don’t worry, resolving it is simple. Just follow the steps below to get your account back on track.
What happens when you have a failed payment?
When a payment fails, your Evie account is temporarily suspended. This means:
- You won’t be able to update your profile or payment details.
- You won’t be able to charge your vehicle with Evie until the failed payment is resolved.
Not to worry though, we've made it really easy to resolve a failed payment in the Evie App.
Resolving a failed payment
- Open the Evie App – If your account has a failed payment, you’ll see a notification in a red box mentioning it. There will also be a link labelled "Pay Now" to help you resolve the issue.
- Click "Pay Now" – This will take you to a secure one-time payment form.
- Enter your payment details – Fill in your preferred credit card details and submit the payment.
- Check your email – Once the payment clears, your charging functions will return to normal. You’ll also receive a confirmation email notifying you that all charging functions have been restored within the Evie app.
Important note on updating payment details
- Making a one-time payment won’t automatically update your saved card details.
- If you want to use a new card for future payments, you’ll need to manually update your payment method after your account is unsuspended.
- To do this, go to Profile > Payment Methods and enter your updated card information.
And that's it! Once you've cleared the payment, you're good to go.
