Sign Up/Sign In to the Evie App is easy. First just let us know if you’re a returning user “I have an Evie account” or this is your first time setting up an account with us “I’m new here”
Then you’ll have a few options to choose from:
- Continue with Google
- Continue with Apple
- Continue with Email
Returning users should choose the method they sign in with previously. For new users you can choose whichever you’re comfortable with. You can read more about signing in with Google or Apple via the links above but if you choose to “Continue with Email” we will need to verify your email address next.
We do this with a one-time secure link which is the most secure method of signing in with your email. It requires the person attempting to sign in to:
- Know your email address;
- Know the password to your email address to receive one-time secure link;
- Click the link emailed to you from the same device as the sign up attempt was initiated.
It also means you don’t have to remember another pesky password (or struggle to remember which letters are CAPS and lowercase ever again 🎉)!
But, you must - we repeat - MUST - open the link from the phone or tablet you initiated Sign Up/Sign In on; otherwise, it won’t work. And that’s to protect your information.
If you're using an Apple device, just make sure you are not using the 'Hide my email' function. Sometimes our magic links get filtered out when forwarded to your real email address.

If you don’t have your email on your phone (lucky you, we’re jealous), you can create a password or sign in with your Apple or Google account.
Just one last thing to be aware of, each time you sign in to the Evie app you need to use the same method.
For example, if you originally signed up to the Evie app via email previously then choosing “Continue with Google” or “Continue with Apple” will automatically create a new account for you.
You will know you’re in the wrong place if you’re asked for you name again even though you already have an account!
