Disabling an RFID

Have more questions? Submit a request

A time may come when you need to disable an RFID, to do so, just visit the RFIDs page.

From the All tab on this page you will see all your organisations RFIDs and their various status (Associated, Unassociated and Disabled). To view these status categories separately, we have provided tabs along the top of your RFID list to quickly filter each view.

You can also search for the RFID you wish to disable using the search bar at the top of the RFIDs page.

There are 2 ways that you can disable an RFID to make it no longer valid for use. You can tap on the disable icon from RFID list.

Tapping on the line entry of any of your RFIDs listed will open an action panel with the details of your RFID.

Included in these details is the option to Disable RFID.

Tapping this button or the disable icon will open a confirmation box to confirm you are happy to disable your RFID.

Note: once disabled, an RFID cannot be re-activated.
